Redmi Note 9 5G will soon get discontinued in China, Note 10 and 11 Series will replace it

Xiaomi does not want to be left behind as Apple prepares to reveal product updates in the coming months. The corporation takes competition seriously, and it is waging a new “war of life and death” against Apple to become the world’s most popular smartphone brand. The corporation intends to make changes and shift its focus to better compete with Apple. Continue reading to learn more about what the organisation has planned for the future.

According to the South China Morning Post, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun announced on Chinese social network Weibo that the business will focus on the high-end part of the smartphone market to directly compete with Apple. Xiaomi intends to fill that hole now that Huawei is no longer a part of the equation. Within three years, the business hopes to become the world’s largest smartphone seller. Xiaomi’s smartphone battle, according to Lei Jun, is a “war of life and death.”

“[We aim to] fully benchmark against Apple in [terms of] product and experience, and become China’s biggest high-end brand in the next three years,”

In the fourth quarter of 2021, Apple surpassed Vivo as China’s top smartphone brand. However, the business also became the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer. Xiaomi has promised to surpass Apple in the future, and it plans to overcome several challenges it has faced thus far.

This includes supply chain concerns, which have proven to be a stumbling block to the company’s growth. Despite these obstacles, Xiaomi managed to marginally outperform Apple in the second quarter of 2021. Without a doubt, the corporation can defeat Apple if the cards are played correctly.

By distinguishing itself from other Chinese manufacturers, the company hopes to attract more customers. As a result, the corporation will be able to target as a single entity rather than as part of a group. In addition, in the following years, the corporation intends to invest extensively in research and development.
