Itel, a well-known company recognized for its affordable smartphones and tablets, is preparing to make a major impact on the Indian market by launching its first 5G-enabled smartphone. This stands in stark contrast to the prevailing trend, where 5G smartphones often come with mid-range or premium price tags. While specific details about the upcoming Itel P55 5G smartphone are eagerly anticipated, one thing is crystal clear – 5G connectivity will be its defining feature.

The All New Upcoming Itel Budget Friendly 5G Smartphone

As reported by 91Mobiles, the highly anticipated Itel P55 5G smartphone marks the company’s inaugural foray into the competitive 5G smartphone market. What differentiates this device is its never-ending passion to affordability, with a price projected to be less than INR 10,000. The date of its release is particularly fascinating, as it clashes with India’s festive season, adding an air of excitement and anticipation.

Itel has managed to carve out an identity for itself by continuously providing affordable mobile choices for the mass market. In addition, the company recently introduced the Itel A60s and Itel P40+, solidifying its reputation as a manufacturer of affordable choices. The Itel A60s, for instance, boasts a quad-core Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, and dual 8-megapixel AI cameras. Powering it all is a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.

In contrast, the Itel P40+ raises the bar with its octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC and an impressive 7,000mAh battery, complemented by rapid 18W wired charging. It has a large 6.8-inch HD+ IPS screen, a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel AI-backed sensor, and an 8-megapixel front camera for wonderful selfies.
