Two years after swapping teams, Glan Martins and Lenny Rodrigues are at it again. In January 2021, Martins moved from ATK Mohun Bagan to FC Goa. And now, the two players are switching teams again in a swap deal.
Martins has found it hard for playing time to come by this season at FC Goa, and is now set to reunite with former head coach Juan Ferrando. The player is anticipating a better fortune featuring for the Mariners, and might just have a better time than he has at Goa this year.
Glan Martins and Lenny Rodrigues to swap clubs again
Goa are expecting that they can rely on the former India international, Rodrigues, fill the end of the season. On the other hand, Martins will be expected to provide a physical presence in the centre of the park.
Joni Kauko is ruled out for a long time for the Mariners, and Ferrando could use a physical presence in the middle of the park to help his side. Glan Martins has flourished before under Ferrando, and could find his best form yet again under the head coach once they reunite.
Rodrigues is expected to be in Goa today, and will soon be training with FC Goa to make his comeback on the pitch.
