iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Launches in China: Specs, Features, and Pricing Details

The new smartphone is the iQOO Z9 and this joins the existing Z9x and Z9 Turbo, all three handsets are available in China. The latest in line is the top-end model in the series called iQOO Z9 Turbo+, featuring just a different processor and a beefier battery from its siblings leaving all else, including design aside consistent.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ features a 6.78-inch Huaxing C8 OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, supports a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, and can provide a clear and smooth viewing experience. The display also includes a fingerprint scanner. In terms of design, the smartphone features a flat frame and a squircle camera island on the back, along with IP65 certification.

On the photography front, there is a dual camera setup that houses a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device also comes with up to 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

The Z9 Turbo+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor and comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and Snapdragon Q1 chipset for better performance alongside a maximum of 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. As well as a substantial 6K VC liquid cooling system. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 6,400mAh and it can be fast-charged at 80W and then out-of-the-box the phone runs on OriginOS 4 based on Android v14.

Connectivity options for the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an IR Blaster, NFC, and a USB-C port. Available in Moon Shadow Titanium, Starlight White, and Midnight Black, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ starts at CNY 2,299 ($330) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 16GB + 256GB model costs CNY 2,499 ($355). The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations are priced at CNY 2,699 ($385) and CNY 2,899 ($410), respectively.
