iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition with Bigger Battery Unveiled

iQOO has plans to release an Endurance Edition of the current generation iQOO Z9 Turbo smartphone, which was introduced back in April 2024. The essence of this new model has been uncovered, with iQOO offering a look at the new iQOO Z7 and its upgraded battery configuration. As the name implies, the battery upgrade is likely to be a highlight feature.

As per info shared by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Endurance Edition will pack a 6,400mAh battery, an increase from the 6,000mAh capacity of the vanilla Z9 Turbo. The firm’s also confirmed a 4-year warranty for this larger battery, which promises increased longevity. Since the 3C listing shows that this device can charge at 80W. The phone will likely have a 6.783-inch flat display, 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and special eye protection features.

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambore claims that the AMOLED panel would support 3840Hz PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The Endurance Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and will most likely feature 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. On the front, it is equipped with a 16MP sensor while the rear offers a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary sensor. The Endurance Edition is based on the original Z9 Turbo design but comes in new colors: Black, Blue, and White.

Aside from the higher capacity battery and new colors, the rest of the specs are the same as the standard model, including Android OS with OriginOS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C port. It is also reported that the iQOO Z10 Turbo is on the way. The model might feature a 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 8s Elite processor, display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, dual 50MP rear camera system, and 80W or 90W fast charging.
