A tipper on Weibo said that the new range, which is expected to be introduced in September, will include 512 GB of storage for the first time. The iQOO Z8 replacements will be unveiled by the vivo brand six months after the iQOO Z7 series was first introduced in March.
iQOO Z8 series features[Rumored]
Although among the iQOO Z8 series, the iQOO Z8x has already been advertised on 3C, the listing said that it allowed 44W charging, raising the question of whether it genuinely belongs to the next series. The iQOO Z7x only supported 80W charging as opposed to the ordinary Z7’s 120W standard.
Generally speaking, the Z8x is a more cheap device. Although the battery is typically larger—in this case, it is probably 6,000 mAh—the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU should be the performance sacrifice.
The newest model should have the same or faster charging speeds, therefore this is unexpected. With the Z8x, it’s likely that iQOO is placing a higher priority on battery life than charging speed, or that there are other considerations that we are not aware of.
The iQOO Z8 is expected to have a 6.64″ LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz as part of its features. It is powered by a Dimensity 8200 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging. The main camera will be a 64MP OIS camera. Along with a side fingerprint scanner, the phone will have Android 13 and OriginOS 3.0 already installed.
Although the iQOO Z8 series’ price and launch date are still unknown, if the smartphones are set to go on sale next month, we may anticipate Vivo to reveal some information in the coming weeks.
