iQOO Neo 10 Series Launch Confirmed; Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Expected

A senior executive at the company has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 10 series will launch in China shortly. Although it has not yet specified the date of release, the launch could be days away, when the month is almost over, probably at the end of November.

The event is expected to showcase two variants— the standard iQOO Neo 10 and the higher-end model iQOO Neo 10 Pro. They will replace the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which were made available in China in December 2023. In other news, the iQOO 13 is also set to launch in India next month.

This confirmation was made via a post on Weibo by the iQOO Neo product manager, although no information has been released about the devices. However, recent leaks have given us a clue about what the specifications will be. While the iQOO Neo 10 may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Neo 10 Pro may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Both the devices are also said to offer 100W wired fast charging and will feature massive 6,000mAh batteries.

Expect one or two Neo 10 variants to arrive flaunting a 1.5K OLED flat display with slim bezels for an expensive delight in screen quality. Apart from these, it was also previously speculated that the Neo 10 series may have a metal middle frame, which would be a significant improvement to the plastic frame of the iQOO Neo 9 series.

The iQOO Neo 9 models come powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipsets, backed by 5,160mAh batteries with support for 20W fast charging. The Neo 9 series also came with 50-megapixel dual rear cameras and 6.78-inch AMOLED displays. Given its specifications and features, the iQOO Neo 10 series is guaranteed a major upgrade over its predecessor.
