The Indian smartphone market is growing by the day, especially online. Now, in an attempt to strengthen their offline presence as well, iQOO and POCO are set to enter the offline market in India. Their parent brands, respectively Vivo and Xiaomi already have a good offline presence across the country. Going by that, their sub-brands should not really have that much of an issue setting up their offline presence.
Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi and Samsung have a rather decent presence in the offline segment, with Xiaomi and the BBK brands especially populating even the tier-2 or tier-3 cities, with budget brand Realme also on the heels of its competitors via retailers.
91Mobiles, in an exclusive collaboration with noted tipster Mukul Sharma, has revealed this piece of information. Moreover, Sharma also reveals the estimated date when the iQOO and POCO offline venture shall become a reality.
According to Sharma, both the brands are planning on starting their offline journey somewhere in between January to March of 2022. Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are where the offline smartphone market flourishes as quite a bunch of people refrain from trusting online portals. On the other hand, Tier 1 city folks primarily rely on online portals like Amazon and Flipkart to purchase smartphones.
Now, as both iQOO and POCO are set to enter the offline smartphone market in India, it will be interesting to see which brand overtakes the other in terms of coverage and sales figures. As mentioned before, both the brands have really good online presence. Recently, POCO sold out staggering numbers of their POCO X3 Pro during the Flipkart Big Billion Days 2021 sale event.
In other news, a highly appealing iQOO Z5 Cyber Grid colour variant has been announced in India with sufficiently good specifications and a reasonable price tag. The iQOO Z5 smartphone hit the store shelves in India back in September.
