Facing an issue with the speakers of your iPhone 12 or 12 Pro? Apple will repair it for free

Apple has been in the news a lot in the past 2 weeks, especially since it publicly announced that soon customers will be able to repair their own iPhones!

Talking about repairing iPhones, if you own an iPhone 12 or 12 Pro and are experiencing issues with the speaker, Apple may actually cover it for free.

A new service program was issued for devices not emitting any sound from the receiver during calls and manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021.

All devices experiencing the aforementioned issues will be serviced free of charge from an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

The repair program appears to be eligible globally via Apple explicitly mentions that it “may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase.” The program covers iPhone 12 and 12 Pro units nearly two years after their first retail sale.

Apple also decided that iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max models are not part of this program.
