iQOOhad already revealed the launch date of the iQOO 7 series on April 26. The series will include iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend. A recent promotional image from Amazon shows both the phone in it and it clearly represents the iQOO Neo 5 that was launched in China last month and the iQOO 7 Legend. This is giving a clear hint that iQOO 7 will be the rebranded version of iQOO Neo 5 (China).
The specifications of iQOO Neo 5 are really good to be the vanilla version of this flagship series. Most of the other brands are launching their flagship series with such diversity ranging among the various models.
Specifications of iQOO Neo 5 5G (China):
The smartphone flaunts a 6.62 inches FHD+ AMOLED display and comes with a strong 120 Hz refresh rate. It also has up to 1,000 Hz of instant touch sample rate. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with HDR10+ support. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile processor and runs on Android 11-based OriginOS for iQOO. It comes with LPDDR4x RAM & UFS 3.1 of internal storage. The device comes with three different storage and RAM combinations; 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, and 12 GB + 256 GB.Â
The new iQOO device packs a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 48 MP Sony IMX598 (f/1.8) main sensor, a 13 MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP (f/2.4) monochrome camera. On the front-side, you can spot a 16MP selfie snapper. This tells that they have a strong camera setup if we consider the price bracket it will be sold in. Talking about the battery, the iQOO Neo5 draws energy from a 4,400 mAh battery cell which is paired with a 66W fast-charging support.Â
In case of pricing the base variant in China starts from Rs.28,000 for the 8GB + 128GB and ranges upto Rs.33,400 for the 12GB + 256GB.
