iQOO 13 Surfaces with Stylish RGB Light Ring Surrounding the Camera Module

The iQOO 13 has been on the internet for months, and some recent reports suggest that it will launch in India on December 5. However, a formal release date announcement is yet to be provided by iQOO. Weibo has shown leaked images of the alleged device design. The phone has a similar look, compared to the IQOO 12, so little design modification can be seen from these images.

Leaks About the iQOO 13

An interesting new feature that can be spotted in the images is an RGB light ring around the back cameras. It will also improve gaming experiences with the immersive lighting effects which can also be used for incoming calls and app alerts. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the RGB light and camera lens are made from a single piece of glass, offering a smooth and integrated feel.

It has also been confirmed that the iQOO 13 will be one of the first smartphones to boot on OriginOS 5, but this is limited to the Chinese version only. While phones sold out of China and most global units including India would run Funtouch OS 15 as well, this roll-out is in line with Vivo’s approach to update software globally. Similarly, Vivo and iQOO confirm the rollout timeline for Funtouch 15.

While there are solid reports suggesting a December 5 release in India, the iQOO 13 will likely debut in China first, possibly later this month or early November. This should mean a confirmation announcement in the coming days if the brand is following its earlier timeline for global launches.

Boasting all the perks of its RGB light, new software innovations, and improved hardware harmony, it is shaping up to be a promising device for 2024 that manages to find an optimal match between power, style, and practical usage. The new model is likely to further the innovation that iQOO has brought with its smartphones.
