According to the latest information, the iQOO 13 will replace the iQOO 12 as the new flagship model. Recently, more details about the iQOO 13 have been revealed online.
The Upcoming iQOO 13
The only other specifications mentioned by DigitalChatStation are the potential inclusion of a 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto camera, apart from the primary and secondary cameras, and they do not specify which sensors specifically will be included on the iQOO 13. The telephoto lens on its predecessor offered a 64-megapixel resolution with similar zoom capabilities.
DigitalChatStation had earlier tipped a 2K (Quad HD) flat display, which also contradicts the curved screen rumored previously. For reference, the iQOO 12 came with a 1.5K plane LTPO AMOLED screen.
It is assumed that the device will come along with other upcoming flagships the flagship is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset which is a successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the iQOO 12. In addition, leaks indicate both a significant bump in battery capacity to 6,000mAh and the use of a 120W charger, compared to the 5,000mAh cell in the original model.
DigitalChatStation also said that the smartphone will come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor in comparison with the iQOO 12 having the standard in-screen fingerprint sensor. However, it is only coming as a ‘single point’ sensor, so only a specific area of your screen. The iQOO 13 is anticipated to boast IP68 dust and water resistance, along with a large X-axis linear vibration motor—an upgrade from the IP64 rating on the iQOO 12.
Rumors suggest the iQOO 13 will start at RMB 3,999 (approximately ₹46,100), which mirrors the launch price of the iQOO 12 in China back in November 2023. More details about the phone are expected to be revealed soon.
