The iQOO 11 was introduced in December of last year, and its replacement is already under development.
The well-known Digital Chat Station from China has reiterated these specifications today. He also offers some fresh, previously unreported details regarding the iQOO 12. For instance, the E7 OLED display’s “2K” resolution (really QHD) and 144 Hz refresh rate.
iQOO 12 series specifications
According to other rumors, the iQOO 12 will debut in international markets somewhere in the first quarter of 2024, or between January and the end of March. There should be a total of four cameras on the back, in addition to the ones that have already been seen, including an ultrawide and a 2x–3x zoom. According to earlier sources, the smartphone will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.
The phone is also rumored to have a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, and 200W wired charging capabilities for a “super large battery”.
According to what we have so far, the main back camera on the iQOO 12 will employ the 50 MP OmniVision OV50H sensor, which has 1.2 m pixels and a 1/1.28″ size. Then, there was a report that the iQOO 12 will include a 64 MP periscope zoom camera with an OmniVision OV64B sensor.
Note that there is presently some uncertainty on the number of models that will carry the name “iQOO 12,” and it appears that there may be two: a 12 and a 12 Pro. Then everything you just read applies to the Pro model.
