In terms of design, the iQOO 12 has a boxy form factor while the iQOO Pro opts for a sleeker profile. Both phones feature camera modules on their panels with gently curved edges—a departure, from previous rectangular island designs seen in earlier iQOO flagships. Furthermore, the iQOO 12 has obtained an IP64 rating whereas the iQOO 12 Pro showcases an IP68 certification providing enhanced safeguarding, against dust and water ingress.

Turning our attention to photography, both the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro feature a triple rear camera setup. This setup includes a primary 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization, an expansive 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto periscope unit that supports 3x optical zoom, an impressive 100x digital zoom, and OIS (optical image stabilization). For selfies, both smartphones are equipped with a capable 16MP front-facing camera.

Under the hood, both the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro are powered by the formidable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Additionally, a dedicated e-sports Q1 chipset enhances the gaming experience, delivering immersive gameplay. These smartphones offer ample memory with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and storage options extending up to a generous 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. To keep these powerful devices running cool during demanding tasks, they come equipped with a large VC vapor chamber and a four-zone cooling system.

The iQOO 12 boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for lightning-fast 120W wired charging. In contrast, the iQOO 12 Pro draws power from a slightly larger 5,100mAh battery, supporting both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the software front, both devices run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 OS out of the box.

Additionally, the iQOO 12 series packs several other noteworthy features, including an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback and dual stereo speakers for immersive audio. For connectivity, the phones offer a USB-C port, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The iQOO 12 starts at CNY 3,999 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Higher storage configurations, such as 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB, are priced at CNY 4,299 and CNY 4,699, respectively. As for the Pro variant, it is exclusively available in a 16GB RAM option, with storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, priced at CNY 4,999, CNY 5,499, and CNY 5,999, respectively. The iQOO 12 duo offers a range of color options, including Black, White, and Red.
