Overall, BCCI profits have hit 46,000 crores and are expected to rise higher tomorrow.
For A+B packages, BCCI has now settled on a price of 44,075 Crore ($5.64 BN). The Digital BIDS for each match were eventually closed at a total of 50 crores. The transmission rights, on the other hand, were worth 57.5 crores. For the first time ever, the IPL will be aired by two separate broadcasters
Day 2 Highlights: Viacom wins digital rights and Disney Star retained its rights
Viacom has been awarded digital rights for a sum of Rs. 20,500 crore. The Digital Values are just 13% lower than the Broadcast Values. Disney Star holds the Indian Subcontinent TV rights for a total of Rs 23,575 crore.
The entire package was sold for Rs 44,075 crore.
Bidding has ended at a total of 44,075 crores (USD 5.64 Billion).
Package A is valued at 23,575 crores, according to the most recent reports (57.5 Cr Per Match). India’s Digital Rights Package B was sold for $20,500 million (50 Cr Per Match).
Package A+B includes a total of BCCI 107.5 CR per match. However, the BCCI has yet to confirm or provide any formal information on the subject.
On the day of the auction, BCCI secretary Jay Shah told The Indian Express that the IPL will surpass the Premier League as the world’s second-largest sports league in terms of media rights per game.
