Washington Sundar, Rahul Tripathi, Maco Jansen and Nicholas Pooran are some of the players who were purchased in the auction.
Rajasthan Royals
The Rajasthan Royals added some good players in their basket during the Mega Auction. Trent Boult, Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal are in the bowling department and it looks pretty solid. Rajasthan Royals will be led by Sanju Samson and the batting looks very good with Jos Buttler Rassie Van Der Dussen, Shimron Hetmyer and many others.
SRH vs RR : Match prediction
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have a revamped squad this season which will be led by Kane Williamson. SRH will hopefully do well in this season and what better way to start off their campaign with a win. Rajasthan Royals on the other hand didn’t have a good IPL 2021 and finished in the second last spot. Royals picked Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Ravichandran Ashwin, Nathan Coulter Nile, Shimron Hetmyer, and Rassie van der Dussen in the auction. It is going to be a thrilling contest between the two sides as both the teams have some big names. However, RR looks more balanced than the opposition and have higher chances to win the game.

Kane Williamson leads the SRH team. He has smashed 1885 runs in his 63 matches IPL career so far. He will be a good pick.
Sanju Samson from Rajasthan Royals who leads the team. He has mustered 3068 runs in his 121 matches IPL career so far and is one of the top picks.
Jos Buttler has smacked 1968 runs in his 65 matches IPL career so far and is a potential game changer.
Trent Boult picked up 76 runs in his 62 matches IPL career so far, and hopefully he’ll perform well this season too.

Umran Malik was one of the best finds of last year’s IPL. The right-arm pacer can clock 150 kph consistently and is one of main players for Hyderabad.
Yuzvendra Chahal has played 56 IPL matches in which he has taken 70 wickets at an average of 22.41 with an economy rate of 7.9.
Devdutt Padikkal won the Emerging Player Award for the IPL. He played for RCB and scored 473 runs in 15 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore in his debut IPL season, 2020.
Marco Jansen picked 2 wickets for 28 runs in his 4 overs in his debut IPL wicket. Later he was named in Eastern Province’s squad, ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa.
