About the proposal
It has also been learned that a suggestion has been made to give one of the playoff games to Lucknow’s new stadium. The UP-Cricket Association has written to the BCCI and the IPL Governing Council requesting that one of the qualifiers be held in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium. The suggestion is unlikely to be accepted by the IPL GC.
