Two times IPL title holder KKR doesn’t have the right player who fits in the shoes of a skipper. recently, the franchise retained Varun Chakravarty, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and Venkatesh Iyer. David Warner can be bought by the franchise and has good reputation being a skipper. He has made Sunrisers Hyderabad win in 2016.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Cricket Australia

Virat Kohli a few months back announced his retirement from IPL as a captain few months back. People were expecting AB De Villiers to be the first choice for captain but he announced retirement recently.

With that on the table, Glenn Maxwell becomes the perfect fit for the captaincy role. The Australian cricketer had a brilliant performance in IPL 2021.
