The debutants Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants (GT vs LSG) will be competing against each other for the first time tomorrow. Both the teams are new but have experienced players who do have an experience in IPL for many years.

Gujarat Titans
The Gujarat Titans were praised a lot for choosing a well balanced team in the IPL Auction. They bought Quinton de Kock, who will open with skipper Rahul at the top, while they have a well-rounded and flexible set of all-rounders in Marcus Stoinis Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Krishnappa Gowtham and Jason Holder. It is expected that Australian pacer will have a lot of variations in the game. The team has spinners like Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Nadeem as spinners which is a huge asset to the team.
Lucknow Super Giants
The Titans couldn’t have smart buys like GT did despite having a lot of options. The team is led by Hardik Pandya and the strength actually lies in the bowling structure with players like Lockie Ferguson, Alzarri Joseph, Dominic Drakes, Mohammed Shami and Varun Aaron, alongside spinners Rashid, R Sai Kishore and Noor Ahmed. The management will hope David Miller to perform towards the back-end of the innings. If the Titans can find the right balance, they would be proved as a strong team.
GT vs LSG IPL 2022 : Match prediction
Both the teams have highly impactful skippers. KL Rahul is all set to lead Lucknow Super Giants and Hardik Pandya will be seen captaining Gujarat Titans. It is expected that Gujarat Titans will be bringing some high energy that the skipper has. Shubman Gill, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and David Miller are some of the trusted names from the batting department. On the other hand, KL Rahul has an experience leading PBKS before and he can implement all his learnings here. Overall, both the teams are quite competitive. It will be interesting to see how the teams perform in the their first season. It’s difficult to say which side will wim but some nail-biting is definitely expected throughout the match.
