KKR lost their 4th consecutive match in a row today. RR beat KKR by 6 wickets.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl first. The poor form of KKR batsmen are continued today. Nitish Rana [22 of 25], Rahul Tripathi [36 of 26] and Dinesh Kartik [25 of 24] were the best performer of the team. KKR set a target of just 134 runs for RR to chase.

While chasing, RR batsmen did a great job from the start. Yashasvi Jaiswal [22 of 17], Sanju Samson [42 of 41], Shivam Dube [22 of 18], and David Miller [24 of 23] did the job for RR. RR won the match with 7 balls in hand.

After the match Eoin Morgan said, “The batting let us down. We lacked a lot of intent throughout the whole innings. We were behind the game right from the get-go. Didn’t put the bowlers under enough pressure. RR adapted to the pitch much better. We were probably 40 short which is a lot in a T20 game.”

The RR skipper Sanju Samson said, “Our bowlers have been doing really well for the last 4-5 matches. There are many options for me to juggle around. Really enjoy captaining them. You could see in his eyes he wanted the competition. He wanted to get the big batsmen out (Morris).”

Chris Morris was rewarded the Man of the Match award.
