Delhi Capitals has been one of the top-performing teams of IPL 2020. DC has won 5 of their 6 matches which makes them currently sit on the No 1 spot in the IPL table with 10 points.

The Capitals hasn’t just won, but they have dominated their oppositions in this tournament and the proof of that is their Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.267, just behind Mumbai Indians who has +1.488 NRR.

The IPL tournament is being hosted in UAE inside a biosecure bubble. The players will be staying 2-3 months away from their family so it is an emotionally hard time for the DC stars.

Delhi Capitals chairman and co-owner Parth Jindal gave an emotional surprise to his team’s stars.

Delhi, Dubai, or any part of the world, we always aim to keep players closer to their families 🤗

Our Chairman & Co-owner, @ParthJindal11's stirring surprise made the DC stars emotional and surely brought them joy 😁

The caption “Delhi, Dubai, or any part of the world, we always aim to keep players closer to their families. Not just a team, a family away from home.” rightly justifies the DC owners’ concern for their stars’ emotional health.

This short videos made from their family’s good wishes will definitely cheer them up and further motivate them to win their first IPL title this year.

DC will take on MI today in the second match of the day. The Capitals are 2 points above MI, so if they can win this match it will further solidify their claim for a playoff spot.
