Apple iPhone 14 Pro will come with a 48MP camera, iPhone 15 could feature a periscope lens

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that the upcoming mid-range iPhone models will not be packed with the company’s latest processor but will arrive with older chipsets. The latest processors will remain exclusive to only the high-end models of the iPhone and the analyst also goes on to state that this strategy will result in individuals purchasing these models rather than cheaper ones.

Apple could no longer launch newer generation lineups of the iPhone with the latest chips:

If this turns out to be true, then the upcoming iPhone 14 Series that will feature the iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro, and the 14 Pro Max could feature different chips. The non-Pro iterations will be powered by the A15 Bionic chip whereas the Pro versions will feature the A16 Bionic. A previous report had hinted at this as well.

Kuo claims that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will be more popular and account for nearly 60% of total sales of Apple smartphones. It also benefits smartphone makers as they get a shot at generating more revenue.

Component suppliers such as Sony, Largan, and LG Innotex, will generate nearly 20 to 30 percent more revenue than last year. The analyst claims that the 14 Pro Series models will all arrive with Sony’s camera sensors and LG Innotek’s color correction matrix.

Going by past reports, there will be a lot of differences in terms of design between the Pro and non-Pro versions of the iPhone 14 with the latter version coming with a pull-shaped cutout.
