iPhone 11 was the best-selling smartphone of H1 2020

If your gadget is premium, then no one can stop you from becoming the highest seller. This line really suits Apple as its iPhone 11 was the best-selling smartphone of H1 2020. As we all know that 2020 is itself a cursed year in all aspects. Smartphones as well as other companies have faced a huge loss in their revenue. But in the case of Apple, this company was very much successful in the pandemic situation too. It’s been a great first 6 months for Apple.

Among all the iPhones from Apple, according to Omdia, iPhone 11 is the winner of best selling smartphone of H1 2020. If we check the statistics, iPhone 11 moved the whopping 37.7 million units in the first half of 2020. If we compare it to the iPhone XR of last year, the iPhone 11 whopping was more than 10 million from XR.

Moreover, Samsung is also not too far away from Apple. The Samsung Galaxy A51 was the second-best of selling. It was moving some 26.3 million units fewer than the iPhone. Last year, Samsung had four smartphones to feature in this list. But this time, only one has managed to get itself into the list.

Apple has already shipped 8.7 million iPhone SE (2020) units between April and June. That does not mean iPhone XR’s selling was hampered. Apple has still managed to ship 8 million iPhone XRs.Now coming to the main model, iPhone 11. This iPhone has sold 10.8 million more units than the iPhone XR did a year ago. According to researchers, an upgraded camera system and a little bit of lower starting price of the iPhone 11 than iPhone XR can be the main reasons for its high sale.
