Generally in the month of September Apple releases its new iPhone models. But for the COVID-19 situation, this year the launch of the iPhone 12 can be delayed by a month and is expected to be released in October. If we tell more precisely, more or less the day will be October,12.

But, this is only the release date of this phone. Though it is not official, it is expected that customers can pre-order the iPhone 12 from November onwards. This is a massive deviation from Apple’s traditional September launch timeline. It may be a result of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic that disrupted the global supply chain and has caused many production issues. Pre-order and shipping both might start in November.

Apple has already confirmed that there are no official dates for releasing the iPhone 12 in the month of September. Rather than that, Apple is willing to launch the next-generation Apple Watch and a new iPad. Though there is no official date for launching those devices, it is believed that it will be unveiled via a press release in the week starting from September 7.

According to some tipsters, iPhone 12 will run on IOS 14 Beta version and it will have a 120 Hz smooth display. So, these can be some good addition to this model. The iPhone 12 camera production was recently reported to have run into quality issues, and this may be one of the reasons for further delay. However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo notes that Apple will be looking for some more sources of cameras from its second supplier who hasn’t run into these quality issues during the production process. According to the analyst, his little hiccup should not mess with Apple’s launch plans.

So, in September after the grand launch of Apple Watch and iPad, we can expect some official confirmation about the launch of the iPhone 12.
