Netflix’s one of the biggest mystery thriller series Intimacy hailing from Spain and launch a big star from Money Heist. The series already enhance the excitement after the release date in June 2022. Now releasing on 10th June, the Spanish language series belongs to Txintxua Films is definitely a political, mystery thriller drama.
In this series the big attraction is Itziar Itano and popular for playing the role of Raquel Murillo in the Spanish show, Money Heist Previously, we have seen Netflix provide us the show like Money Heist and also even Stranger Things, now the assumption is like fiving the superstar their own spin-off, fans are ready to jump to watch the series having familiar faces.
The official synopsis of the series reveals, “A rising politician’s career is threatened while a surreptitiously recorded video of her sex life leaked to the public.”
Intimacy (Season 2): Renewal Status
There is no such decision taken on the future of Intimacy that was declared in late June 2022. Spoiler from Bolavip, reveals the say that Netflix going to take the decision after 28 days but provided the way that things just tie up, and they just include, a second season that might not be a realistic expectation
The big reason for not returning is that the show has made more or less wrapped up in the main storyline. Bolavip recaps, “In one of the last scenes it is suggested that Malen is not satisfied with the resolution of his case, so Netflix could take that point in the story for a second season with more personal plots from different women”
ElcoMercio also disappoints the fans about the second season by saying:
“Although neither the protagonists nor the producers have mentioned anything about a possible second round of episodes,”
It has not been marked as a “mini-series” or a “limited Series” on any of such promotional material or the Netflix UI so maybe there is a little hope.
Intimacy (Season 1): Netflix Performance
After using such a variety of resources, we have seen how good Intimacy is performing and taking the best path from Netflix through the top 10 with hourly viewership numbers.
In the first two weeks on the platform, Intimacy just recorded 46.11 million hours of viewership. The second week is literally notable as it rises 90% viewership hours to become the number 1 non-English language series between 12th June and 19th June.
