Intel’s Tiger Lake Promotional Video leaked, 4.8 GHz clock speed confirmed

Recently, prolific tipster WalkingCat leaked a lot of upcoming Intel promotional videos and among them, one of the main promos is about the new Tiger Lake processors. Ice Lake hasn’t been that much promising for Intel, however, with new Willow cove cores based on SuperFin transistors will give superior performance than its predecessors.

As we see Intel has totally changed the way of their logos and branding, it is now focusing to bring good products with improved performance over the last-gen – which we wanted from Intel for a long long time now. Although from the video it is clear that Intel will be sticking with up to 4 cores and 8 threads, however, its boost clock will reach up to 4.8GHz which is freaking awesome!

Also, the new Intel Xe graphics will deliver better GPU performance over the Iris Plus graphics and it is even more powerful than the AMD’s Vega iGPU as well, even though coming in the same 15W TDP package.

Promising up to 2.4 TFLOPs of performance, the new Xe graphics is faster than the likes of existing PS4 and Xbox One consoles, so gaming on these new machines won’t be difficult, however, real-world performance will only be revealed on 2nd September at Intel’s event.
