Intel’s upcoming Rocket Lake CPUs will be launched on March 16th and officially available on 30th March. But the company has already started taking pre-orders, and also that the users who want to place their pre-orders have to be dependent on the benchmark results of the leaked specs. So here is yet one more benchmark result of the company’s upcoming Rocket Lake models.

This time the processor in question in the Intel’s Core i7-11700K Rocket Lake 8 Core Desktop CPU, and the results have been published by CapFrameX.

According to the benchmark scores, the Intel Core i7-11700K Rocket Lake 8 Core Desktop CPU shows significantly better performance than the Comet Lake flagship titles. As we all know, Rocket Lake CPUs will come with Intel’s new architecture, which is designed for its CPU segment.

Though we are receiving the CPUs’ benchmark results, these are just from the products that the retailers sold unofficially. To top it all, Intel has not yet released its BIOS for the motherboards to support the Rocket Lake family. So, the benchmarks are not the final evaluation of the CPUs.

According to sources, the evaluation of Intel’s Core i7-11700K was done on the new BIOS on a Z590 motherboard platform. The platform included the GeForce RTX 3090 & 32 GB of DDR4 memory. The Rocket Lake platform’s test machine was evaluated with a DDR4-3200 MHz (CL 16-16-16-36 2T) 4X Single-Rank memory, while the Comet Lake platform was tested with DDR4-2933 (CL16-16-16-36 2T) 2X Dual-Rank memory.

For this benchmark score which was for the gaming titles, three games were tested, namely the Crysis Remastered, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, and Cyberpunk 2077.

The test revealed that Crysis Remastered showed 6% performance improvement with Intel Core i7-11700K rather than the i9-10900K.

Coming to Cyberpunk 2077, the chip shows a 2% performance difference, with Rocket Lake in the lead.

For Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, the Rocket Lake CPU is 10% faster than the Comet Lake CPU.

The performance of the i7-11700K is certainly amazing because the Intel Core i9-10900K has a higher number of core/threads while operating at a higher boost frequency of up to 5.3 GHz.

Rocket Lake is turning out to be a good choice for gamers over the currently used Comet Lake, as intel is sure to make performance improvements by 30th march.
