More About the Intel Core Ultra 200 CPUs

The Core Ultra 5 245KF is the most affordable, priced at $299.99, while the Core Ultra 9 285K leads the lineup at $629.99. Meanwhile, the Core Ultra 9 285K, Intel’s flagship in the Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” lineup, offers 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores, totaling 24 threads, with 76 MB of cache. It has a base clock of 3.7 GHz on P-cores, and 3.2 GHz on E-cores, which are accompanied by boost clocks that can go 5.7 GHz and 4.6 GHz respectively.

With a PL1 TDP of 125W and MTP of 250W, it’s competitively priced at $589, matching Intel’s previous flagship and sitting $60 below AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X. Another top-tier model is the Core Ultra 7 265K with eight P-cores and twelve E-cores, for a total of twenty cores and threads along with its 66 MB cache. This CPU runs at a base clock of 3.9 GHz on P-cores and 3.3 GHz on E-cores, with boost clocks reaching 5.5 GHz and 4.6 GHz respectively. Priced at $394 for the K variant and $379 for the KF, it undercuts both the i7-14700K and AMD’s Ryzen 9 9900X by over $100.

Finally, the Core Ultra 5 245K offers a balanced performance with 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores, totaling 14 cores and threads, and 50 MB of cache. Base and boost speeds are set at 4.2 GHz and 5.2 GHz on P-cores and 3.6 GHz and 4.6 GHz on E-cores. The K variant costs $309, $10 less than the 14600K, while the KF model is priced at $294. Both versions cost less than the Ryzen 7 9700X, providing good value in a lower price segment. The chips are now available with the Assassin’s Creed: Shadows bundle, and a few OEMs have already started to integrate Arrow Lake CPUs into their pre-built systems.
