Panther Lake is described as Intel’s upcoming third generation of Core Ultra mobile processors – it will succeed existing Lunar Lake chips. As per hardware leaker Jaykihn on X, Intel is readying up to five Panther Lake SKUs for your next-generation set of mobiles.

Leaks About the New Intel Core Ultra Panther Lake-H

Built on Intel’s 18A manufacturing process, Panther Lake should offer a mix of Cougar Cove P-Cores and Skymont E-Cores along with Xe3 (Celestial) integrated graphics. Its Cougar Cove is a new core design, while Skymont represents an evolution of the massive `GWM` mega-core that made up many Lunar Lake processors. Xe3 will follow the Xe2 (Battlemage) graphics seen in Lunar Lake. Jaykihn confirms a total of five SKUs, all denoting high-performance parts as Panther Lake-H models.

One of the SKUs is apparently nearly identical in configuration, packing four P-cores and eight E-cores with a TDP spec at a 25W power rating, while two other chips feature four standard performance cores alongside an additional quartet of those low-power LP E-cores. Hence they differ in the number of their Xe3 GPU cores, with 4 or instead of just 12 on offer. The second available SKU has four P-cores and four LP E-cores along with 4 Xe3 GPU cores, which can also be rated for a TDP of either 28W or 45W.

These are pre-EDS configurations – a broader set of specifications that Intel has released to partners about power, performance, and I/O functionality. Exactly one Panther Lake-H SKU is a 45W HX series chip, with six P-cores eight E-cores, and four LP E-Cores as well as 4 Xe3 GPU cores. A 28W part with the same core layout also provides a faster integrated GPU, endowed as it is with 12 Xe3 EUs.

The odds are that these five SKUs will be a part of the Panther Lake-H lineup according to Jaykihn, with more possible configurations in tow. The Panther Lake series is expected to launch in the latter half of 2025, with the final specifications possibly differing from the current leaks.
