Intel’s upcoming Core Ultra 200H series, part of the Arrow Lake-H mobile lineup, has been spotted on Geekbench, giving us a glimpse into their performance and specifications. These processors, designed for laptops, promise a balance of power and efficiency, targeting a wide range of users from casual multitaskers to performance enthusiasts.

Here’s a breakdown of the three SKUs—Core Ultra 5 225H, Core Ultra 7 255H, and Core Ultra 9 285H—and what they bring to the table.

1. Core Ultra 5 225H: Entry-Level Power with Efficiency

The Core Ultra 5 225H is the entry-level chip in the lineup, but it still packs a punch.

Specifications

Core Configuration: 4 Performance cores + 10 Efficient cores (14 cores total)
Clock Speeds: 1.7 GHz base, 4.9 GHz boost (up to 5.0 GHz Turbo P-core)
Cache: 18 MB L3
iGPU: 7 Xe-LPG cores clocked at 2.0 GHz

Performance

Geekbench Scores:
- Single-core: 2665
- Multi-core: 14526

The Core Ultra 5 225H performs on par with its desktop counterpart, the Core Ultra 5 225F, but offers a 10% boost in multi-threaded performance thanks to its additional cores. This makes it a solid choice for users seeking a balance between performance and efficiency.

2. Core Ultra 7 255H: Mid-Range Muscle

The Core Ultra 7 255H steps up the game with more cores and higher clock speeds, making it a powerful mid-range option.

Specifications

Core Configuration: 6 Performance cores + 10 Efficient cores (16 cores total)
Clock Speeds: 2.0 GHz base, 5.1 GHz boost
Cache: 24 MB L3
iGPU: 8 Xe-LPG cores clocked at 2.25 GHz

Performance

Geekbench Scores:
- Single-core: 2880
- Multi-core: 15815

While slightly slower than the desktop Core Ultra 7 265, the 255H still delivers impressive performance for a mobile chip. It’s ideal for multitasking, gaming, and demanding workloads, offering a great balance of power and efficiency.

3. Core Ultra 9 285H: High-End Performance Beast

At the top of the lineup is the Core Ultra 9 285H, a powerhouse designed for users who demand the best performance.

Specifications

Core Configuration: 6 Performance cores + 10 Efficient cores (16 cores total)
Clock Speeds: 3.69 GHz base, 5.4 GHz P-core boost (up to 4.5 GHz Turbo E-core)
Cache: 24 MB L3
iGPU: 8 Xe-LPG cores clocked at 2.35 GHz
TDP: 45W (compared to 28W for the other SKUs)

Performance

Geekbench Scores:
- Single-core: 3104
- Multi-core: 18006

The Core Ultra 9 285H stands out with its higher clock speeds and increased power budget, making it a top-tier choice for heavy workloads, gaming, and content creation. Its 45W TDP ensures sustained performance, setting it apart from the rest of the lineup.
