In search of a flagship CPU? Intel’s last flagship Core i9-12900K really surprised us all since its launch a year ago and has been a fan favourite because of its extreme performance. Though the new 13th Gen CPUs are here, this older 16-core Core i9-12900K cannot be forgotten and when on sale this is great for high-end Gaming PCs.

With both phenomenal single-core and multi-core performance, this Intel chip still holds its value even in 2022 and can be a great buy if you can build it with 12th Gen motherboards & components that are already on sale. Currently, on Amazon, the Core i9-12900K’s price has been reduced to only $417.

Thanks to 8P+8E cores, you never run out of performance and as we said in our review, though it needs solid cooling it is a flagship chip. That’s it, paired with a cheaper DDR5 RAM and this beast will be enough to serve you 3-4 years down the road, so, if your budget is around $400, want an Intel CPU then this is a good choice.
