AMD’s President and CEO have recently been awarded the IEEE Robert N. Noyce Medal for her amazing leadership and engineering prowess. This IEEE Awards 2021 was sponsored by Intel, and the company was kind enough to congratulate Dr Lisa Su, even though she is the CEO of its sole rival company.

This is a kind gesture from Intel and its new CEO, Pat Gelsinger, who congratulated Lisa Su from his Twitter account on winning this prestigious award.

Also, he acknowledged the accomplishments of its rival and mentioned the critical role semiconductors play in this digitized world. This is a good gesture from Pat Gelsinger, and this kind of healthy acknowledgement and competition is ultimately what we want to see at the end of the day.

Congratulations, Dr Lisa Su, and we hope both AMD and Intel continue to make next-gen computing even better regardless of their ever-lasting competition.
