Infinix Zero Flip Set to Launch in India on October 17th: Affordable Clamshell Foldable with Impressive Specs

The Infinix Zero Flip smartphone is going to be launched in India on October 17th in both Blossom Glow (pink) and Rock Black (black) colors. Just like the Infinix Zero 40, this will soon be available for purchase directly via Flipkart and Infinix’s official website as well post-launch.

The Infinix Zero Flip costs $600 (approximately ₹50,500) and is being sold globally with a single model that has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Reports suggest that this particular model could be priced similarly in India, between ₹50,000 and ₹55,000 making it possibly the least expensive foldable clamshell design.

The Infinix Zero Flip features a 6.9-inch FHD+ curved LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and supports up to peak brightness levels of around 1,400 nits. It also features a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover screen with the same refresh rate, same peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC that comes along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The device is backed by a 4,720mAh battery with 70W wired and bullish reverse charging capabilities.

About the camera department, it has a dual rear camera setup that houses a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. At the front for selfies and video calls, this phone features a 50MP camera with autofocus. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based XOS 14.5 and promises two major OS upgrades along with three years of security patches.

In terms of design, the Zero Flip will look identical to its global counterpart and sport a flip-folding form factor akin to clamshell devices. The device is shown in teasers, complete with two circular modules for a dual camera cutout on the cover screen. By offering the right balance between thickness and weight, it ensures comfort can be handled well as Infinix says that the Zero Flip should be able to fold 400,000 times.
