A couple of days earlier, some rumors had indicated that the Infinix Zero 5G is expected to launch on February 8th, a new official confirmation from today changes that. As per Flipkart’s microsite, the launch has now been scheduled for February 14 at 12 PM.
The microsite reveals that the Infinix Zero 5G will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip and support nearly 13 5G bands. The AnTuTu benchmark score of the device has also surfaced, standing at 475,073. Infinix claims that this makes the device the fastest in the 5G category at this price segment.
The previous rumors were based entirely on leaks so it is a possibility that they were not false, and that the launch of the device was actually delayed.
Irrespective of this, the older leaks had revealed that the Infinix Zero 5G has an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The display measures 6.67″ and will have an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In the optics, the Infinix Zero 5G will have a triple camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary sensor. The smartphone will runs on Android 11 OS with XOS on top. The device will have a 5,000mAh batter with 33W fast charging.
The Infinix Zero 5G will come in an orange and black color variant.
