India’s esports fans finally have their answer. The country’s BGMI roster for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 has been revealed, and it’s stacked with some of the biggest names the Battlegrounds Mobile India scene has ever produced.

What’s the Buzz About

NODWIN Gaming, India’s National Team Partner for ENC 2026, has unveiled the squad set to represent the country in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to 29. Alongside the announcement, India also received a special invitation to the BGMI event itself, one of only four countries granted this route into the main draw.

Leading the charge is Nakul Sharma, widely regarded as one of India’s finest in-game leaders, fresh off being named Best IGL at BGIS 2026. He’s joined by Legit, Spower, Akop, Pain, and Slug, a lineup that blends multiple national champions with players who’ve already proven themselves on the international stage. Rahul “Ayogi” steps in as the team’s coach, overseeing preparations ahead of the tournament.

Speaking on the announcement, captain Nakul said representing India carries a responsibility bigger than any individual or organization, and that the squad’s focus over the coming months will be on building chemistry and communication.

Why It Matters

With this roster locked in, India has now secured representation across four titles at ENC 2026, BGMI, Chess, VALORANT, and Trackmania, making it one of the most well-rounded esports contingents heading into the tournament. Grandmaster Nihal Sarin leads the Chess charge, while India’s VALORANT and Trackmania stars have also punched their tickets through regional qualifiers.

Attention now shifts to the remaining titles, with India’s PUBG squad competing in online qualifiers from July 10-12, followed by Rocket League and MOBA: Legends 5v5 hopefuls later this year.
