Indian legend MS Dhoni wins the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade

As we head into a new decade, ICC have taken a look at the past decade and honoured those who had been in terrific form in the last decade.

ICC has declared the Team of the Decades of all the three formats for each Men and Women’s category on Sunday, 27th December.

Now they have honoured the best players in every format on Monday, 28th December.

ICC have now honoured MS Dhoni with the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade. This award has been given based on fans vote.

One of the incidents which stood out in Dhoni’s ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade win was his gesture of calling back England batsman Ian Bell after a bizarre run out in the Nottingham Test in 2011.

MS Dhoni, also known as Captain Cool, has always remained sober on the pitch no matter what and has also shown the true gentleman spirit of the game over the years.
