Apple started this trend, Samsung joked about it immediately and then following that it stopped bundling chargers with all of its flagship smartphones. It was followed by other Android manufacturers as well, however, the budget to mid-range smartphones was spared from this.
Now, with this new Samsung Galaxy M33 5G, Indian buyers are really angry with Samsung, the brand that has been trusted by Indians throughout. Even though the smartphone is quite good for its price, fans have to buy the charger separately is what made buyers rate the device 3.1 stars out of 5.
So, you see there are 33% of people who are really satisfied with the smartphone and the charger is not a problem has rated 5 stars. While there are 31% who have rated 1 star as they clearly seem to be dissatisfied with the fact there is no charger in the box.
This means one will have to buy the Samsung Original 25W Travel Adapter separately for ₹1,149, which will be a point of debate for many. Maybe Apple started this to save the environment but yet again increases the hassle to order a separate charger that will use up separate packaging.
You get how debatable this topic is that not bundling a charger into the box of a smartphone saves the environment but it is indeed true that we have a lot of chargers in our home which can be used. Maybe we don’t have a fast charger but still, the ones who don’t have any will surely be angry with Samsung as they are now.
On the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G’s Amazon product page you will notice a lot of comments and people are really unhappy as there is no charger. A lot of people have complained that gifting the smartphone had left the other end to scramble around for a new adaptor separately in the market.
Not only that, people are complaining that using the recommended 25W Samsung original charger is heating up their smartphone. Indeed this is an issue Samsung needs to address else it will keep losing the valuable Indian customers who have been loyal to the brand.
