Rohit Sharma and his team defeated Kieron Pollard’s West Indies by 17 runs to finish the 3-0 series clean sweep. Suryakumar Yadav scored 65 runs whereas Harshal Patel had taken 3 wickets.

India vs West Indies: Match Highlights

India had a 3-0 clean sweep by defeating West Indies by 17 runs in the 3rd T20I at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Kyle Mayers lost his wicket early as Deepak Chahar had taken his wicket. He took Shai Hope’s wicket as 8 runs in the next over before returning to the pavilion. Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran started their games by hitting fours. Soon, Harshal Patel and Venkatesh Iyer took two wickets swiftly. Pooran was alive by hitting a 50. Romario Shepherd joined Pooran who got out at 61 by Shardul Thakur. Harshal and Thakur had another wicket and West Indies finished on 167/9 in just 20 overs.

India had given West Indies a target of 185. Ruturaj Gaikwad lost his wicket at an early stage by Jason Holder. After that Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer had a partnership of 50 runs in the 8th over. Iyer was dismissed on 25 runs by Hayden Walsh. Roston Chase took Ishan Kishan’s wicket on 34 runs. Rohit Sharma didn’t last in the pitch as Drakes took his wicket. Suryakumar Yadav scored 65 runs in just 31 balls and Venkatesh Iyer hit 86 runs in 30 balls and India scored 184/5 in 20 overs.
