South Africa trounced India by seven wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday, thanks to David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen’s calm demeanour. Van der Dussen struck an unbeaten 75 off 46 balls after being dropped on 29 by Shreyas Iyer. Miller, his partner, scored 64* from 31 balls. The visitors have grabbed a 1-0 lead in the five-match series with their victory. Ishan Kishan had earlier in the evening enjoyed the proceedings after a tumultuous IPL, smashing 76 off 48 to lead India to a 211-4 victory. The hosts, who were given the opportunity to bat first, got off to a fast start, with Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad putting on a 50-run partnership. Gaikwad was fired on March 23. (15). Kishan continued to be the star of the show, scoring 36 off 27 balls alongside Shreyas Iyer. Rishabh Pant contributed a 16-ball 29, while Hardik Pandya remained undefeated on 31 in 12 balls.
