India vs South Africa, 1st Test: India wins by a huge margin of 113 runs

From India, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami finished with three wickets whereas Mohammad Siraj and Ravichandran Ashwin had taken 2 wickets.

KL Rahul had his seventh Test hundred in the Test match. He had a sharing of a 117-run partnership with Mayank Agarwal in the first innings which had set the base for India’s win. The tourists now have a figure of 1-0 up in the three-match series.

“I think right up there, in terms of the conditions, wicket and how challenging it was, I think this innings will be right up there for me because I had to take lots of guts, determination and discipline to get this century and get my team to a winning position. So, yeah, it’s right up there for me,” said KL Rahul in the virtual press conference.
