Celebrations have already started in the dressing room of the Indian cricket team as the team had a massive victory against South Africa at SuperSport in centurion. This is their first-ever triumph in the stadium in three matches. The visitors had set a target of 305 runs for the hosts. The South African team got all out at 191 in their second innings, thus India registered a huge 113 runs win.

India dominated the entire test and South Africa with its relentless attack and had an emphatic 113 run win in the first test in centurion on Thursday,. India had set a target of 305runs and all the players Of South Africa returned to the pavilion at 191 runs after lunch, in their second innings. on the final day. The South African Team was at 182/7 before the lunch trailing by 123 runs. On the fourth day, South Africa had finished at 94 runs with 6 wickets in hands. Skipper Dean Elgar remained unbeaten on 52. From India, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami finished with three wickets whereas Mohammad Siraj and Ravichandran Ashwin had taken 2 wickets.

KL Rahul had his seventh Test hundred in the Test match. He had a sharing of a 117-run partnership with Mayank Agarwal in the first innings which had set the base for India’s win. The tourists now have a figure of 1-0 up in the three-match series.

“I think right up there, in terms of the conditions, wicket and how challenging it was, I think this innings will be right up there for me because I had to take lots of guts, determination and discipline to get this century and get my team to a winning position. So, yeah, it’s right up there for me,” said KL Rahul in the virtual press conference.

KL Rahul even picked up the title of “Man of the Match” and views this series as huge learning for himself and for the entire team.
