India vs New Zealand, 1st Test, Day 2: India put up a target of 346 against New Zealand. Get the latest updates of the test at Green Park, Kanpur.

The Black Caps performed well in today’s match. New Zealand players Tom Latham scored 50 and Will Young scored 75 runs. The Kiwis made 129 /0 on day 2 in 57 overs. Earlier, Ajaz Patel had concluded the Indian innings with Ravichandran Ashwin and Ishant Sharma. Ravichandran Ashwin made 38 runs and Ishant Sharma made 0. Shreyas Iyer made 105 and highlighted India’s innings, he became the 16th Indian batter to reach the mark on Test debut. He got out by Tim Southee.

Ashwin got dismissed for 16 to Ajaz Patel and missed an attempt. The ball missed the stump and bounced off Tom Blundell’s pad before he reacted. He missed reviewing an lbw decision against Shubman Gill but the same thing didn’t happen with Ajaz Patel.
