India vs Chinese Taipei had to be called off after a stunning 12 players tested positive in India’s camp for COVID-19. The team did not travel to the DY Patil Stadium as a result of the infection as well.

Since the team was unable to field 13 players for the match, the game had to be called off. And India’s ambitions for the AFC Cup are now in tatters. The Blue Tigresses had qualified for the tournament for the first time in 19 years, and as a result, the situation is even more heartbreaking for the team and the fans.
