Bhuvanesh was the only wrestler from India to win a medal at the U20 Wrestling Championship on the final day. In the 61kg category, he defeated Kazakhstan’s Nurlanbek to win the bronze medal and extend the country’s tally to seven medals in the competition.

It was a nail biting finish to the bronze medal match as Bhuvanesh won 6-5, but the match was decided on the finest of margins.
