On the occasion of Diwali, India took to the field and put up a mammoth total of 411 runs in their final group stage game. They also bowled out the Netherlands at 250 to win by 160 runs and maintain their 100% record to head into the semifinals as the favourites to win this year’s World Cup.

The Men in Blue will next be in action against New Zealand in the first semifinal of the ICC World Cup 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium on November 15. They will be expected to go through, after being defeated by the Kiwis in the 2019 edition.
