India beat Pakistan in Champions Trophy match for 3-1

Junaid Manzoor from Pakistan scored a goal in the 45th minute. It was India’s second win in the tournament after their 9-0 with Bangladesh. Pakistan didn’t win but they have a draw with Japan in their opening match. India had earlier had drawn a match with Korea for 2-2 in their opening tournament. India is at the top with seven points from just three games and will take on Japan in their round-robin match on Sunday.

Pakistan lost the match against India today and have one point from two games. India and Pakistan have been joint winners in the last edition of the tournament in Muscat after they lost the final match.

The Indian team dominated the match in the first two quarters and Pakistan decided to sit back. Harmanpreet was the star of the game.

Indians played steadily from the first day and created a few chances but credit goes to the goalkeeper Mazar Abbas who played well in the overall game.

It was the Indian team who took the lead exactly in the eighth minute, Harmanpreet converted the team’s penalty cover with a fluck to the left of Pakistan goalie.
