Hyderabad FC vs Kerala Blasters: ISL 21/22 final preview

The finals of the 21/22 ISL season will see Kerala Blasters face off against Hyderabad FC for the title. The match will take place at the Fatorda Stadium and will be played behind closed doors, it will start at 7:30PM IST for watchers in India. 

Both clubs have had a remarkable campaign this year, with both having a brief spell where it seemed like they could end up winning the league. However, they were unable to make it and the League Winner’s Shield was ultimately captured by Jamshedpur FC. 

Kerala Blasters vs Hyderabad FC preview 

The Blasters made it to the finals of the competition after defeating league winners Jamshedpur FC over two legs. On the other hand, Hyderabad FC overcame ATK Mohun Bagan in the semifinals to confirm their spot in the finals for the first time in their existence

Key players for both sides 

Hyderabad FC – Bart Ogbeche 

The Hyderabad FC forward has won the Golden Boot this season, and is one of the reasons why the Nizams are the highest-scoring team in the league this season. His presence will be key for the team to lead a strong attacking challenge in the game. 

Kerala Blasters – Adrian Luna 

Adrian Luna scored the vital goal to help Kerala Blasters into the finals of the ISL. And, his performances have been remarkable throughout the season, making him the best player for the team. If the Blasters want to put up a strong display in the big game, they will need the Uruguayan to be at his best and deliver.
