Huawei’s Kirin 9000 will be powered by a 24-core GPU: Reports

Huawei is going to launch its Kirin 9000 chipset in the upcoming days and this chip has already appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark website where it scored very similar to the Exynos 1080 chipset. As per the GPU section, it has scored much better, at about 287,000+. It is way ahead if we compare it with Qualcomm and Samsung’s Exynos top performers.

Today another report has arrived regarding the Huawei Kirin 9000 sports a 24-core GPU. This thing was measured by calculating another benchmark score. In comparison, this GPU has scored better than the Snapdragon 865 and the Exynos 1080. Now we are waiting to see how this chipset Kirin 9000 will perform against the Snapdragon 875 and the Exynos 2100. Both of them will make their entry in 2021.

As per the smartphones, the Mate 40 from Huawei will carry this chipset which will feature a display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The SoC of this phone will be paired with 8GBof RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The RAM type is LPDDR5 and the storage type is UFS 3.1.

The Mate 40 Pro+ model might feature an octagonal-shaped Penta rear camera setup, along with 65W fast charging. The chipset of this phone will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

So we can expect that the Kirin 9000 chipset will make its entry with the Huawei’s new Mate 40 series and the announcement date of tis series has already been announced by the company which is October 22.
