The Nova 8i has a 6.67″ Edgeless LCD display with a punch-hole design and an FHD+ resolution of 2376x1080p. The edgeless design is prominent due to the super-thin bezels and it also has a 180Hz touch sampling rate for an amazing gaming experience.

The Nova 8i will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 Chipset coupled with 8GB+128GB storage. It will only be released in this storage specification. Huawei will ship it with a 4,300mAh battery. The star of the show is the 66W fast charging feature that will ensure the device goes from 0 to 100 in 38 minutes.

The Huawei Nova 8i will run on EMUI 11 out-of-the-box and will have Android 11 support. Huawei has confirmed that the device will get all HarmonyOS updates.

The device will also come with features exclusive to Huawei such as Huawei MeeTime that is a video chatting application from Huawei. The device also has Photo Safe Sharing and Huawei AppGallery support.

It has a USB Type-C cable and has support for Bluetooth 5.0. Huawei has priced the device at $312(23,340 INR). The device is on pre-order from today till July 21st. Individuals who pre-book the device will get benefits worth $63(4,700 INR).

Huawei is releasing the Nova 8i in three color variants, Interstellar Blue, Moonlight Silver and Starry Black.
