Huawei Nova 3 & Nova 3i Launched In India As Mid-Range Smartphones

Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i at a reasonable price on Amazon, sale starts from 7th August.

Huawei has launched the most awaited Nova series’  two devices, Nova 3 and Nova 3i. The Nova 3i is a mid-range device whereas the Nova 3 is an upper mid-range device. See the official video here,

The Huawei Nova 3i is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC, the company’s first chipset made on the 12nm process; it has 4GB RAM. Huawei Nova 3 gets IR-based Face Unlock functionality, and 6GB RAM. The two smartphones will come in Iris Purple and Black colours and have dual VoLTE support.

Both the phones have dual cameras on both the front and the back with AI integration, and the display notch that house the sensors and the front camera module. The front cameras of both phones also have HDR Pro. The new Nova 3 and Nova 3i will receive GPU Turbo mode via an OTA update for a more powerful gaming experience, as well as an AI-based 4D gaming experience. Both handsets will also come in 128GB storage capacities in India.

Huawei Nova 3 & Nova 3i Launched Today In India As Mid-Range Smartphones

The dual-SIM (Nano) and dual-VoLTE Huawei Nova 3 runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and features a 6.3-inch (1080×2340 pixels) full HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 85 percent NTSC colour gamut. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, coupled with Mali-G72 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The dual rear camera setup of the handset includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and PDAF and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture. Similar to the back, there is a dual camera setup at the front as well that comprises a 24-megapixel primary sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The rear camera setup supports AI scene recognition. The main attraction of this device is its GPU Turbo Technology.

The Huawei Nova 3 has 128GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. It also includes a fingerprint sensor at the back and supports a Face Unlock feature as well. Besides, the smartphone packs a 3750mAh battery and measures 157×73.7×7.3mm.

It sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) LTPS panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 409ppi. The handset is powered by an in-house octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM.

In the camera department, the Huawei Nova 3i bears a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Even the front of the handset has a dual camera setup with a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary unit. The smartphone is equipped with 128GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).

Price, Availability, and Offers :

The Huawei Nova 3 price in India is Rs. 34,999, and the smartphone goes on sale in India on August 23. As for the price in India of Huawei Nova 3i, buyers will have to shell out Rs. 20,990 and sale will commence on August 7. Both the handsets will be Amazon exclusive in the country. Pre-orders for the two models will start today at 2 pm. Launch offers include no-cost EMIs, extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange, and Rs. 1,000 cashback on pre-booking. Jio customers will get cashback of Rs. 1,200 and 100GB complimentary data.

Huawei has also partnered with Amazon India to deliver an AI-based shopping experience. This feature takes the user to the Amazon listing of a product if users long press on its image with two fingers; alternatively, users can take a photo of the product and the tech will scan it to open the Amazon.
